When I Loved Myself Enough 3- The state of being neutral

Thought it was time for another gem from Kim Mc Millan’s little book, When I Loved Myself Enough.

Here goes:

When I loved myself enough,

I saw beyond right and wrong and became neutral.

At first I thought this was indifference;

Now I see the clarity that comes from neutrality.

From a place of neutrality, we are able to appreciate both sides of an issue.

From a place of neutrality, no judgement is required.

From a place of neutrality we stay connected to the person with the issue instead of being drawn into taking sides which escalates conflict.

Be kind to yourself
